• About Us

  • Established in 2000, Steve "Buck" Leake, started Buck's Recycling LLC. of Manly as a mechanic shop that has since evolved into a family owned and operated scrap metal recycling business. In December of 2012 we started a scrap operation in Belmond.

Buck got his love of fixing up cars and junking from his Dad, Paul Leake. When Buck was young they used to do this out of their barn at the farm over by Plymouth.  Paul was a huge help everyday at the shop. He is missed everyday.

In 2017, we moved the Manly shop's responsiblities 3 miles down the highway to our new facility in Kensett.

We are committed to doing our part to help the environment, our community and meet the needs of our customers. As part of this commitment, we are constantly investing in improvements for the environment as well as for our customers by way of technologies, ways of doing business and new and upcoming equipment. We have equipment to unload any items you bring including a truck scale for easy drive on weighing, a grapple, a magnet, several loaders, skid loader, fork lift and a small 4x4 scale for non ferrous metals.

We recycle everything from aluminum to copper and electric motors to car bodies, steel, junk farm machinery, computer items, gold and silver. We also accept appliances.
